Have you tested lately? 27 June is National HIV Testing Day in the United States, the perfect opportunity for LGBTQ+ Americans to take Pride in their health by getting tested and knowing their current HIV status. Whether you do it at home with a self-test or go to a testing site near you, staying on top of your status helps you take charge of your health and get informed as early as possible about any care and treatment you may need. If we all get tested, we can stop HIV together. IGLTA also has a guide for traveling with HIV. Click below to view the guide. |
STONEWALL RIOTS ANNIVERSARY
|
28 June marks the 53rd anniversary of New York City’s Stonewall Riots in 1969, when our brave LGBTQ+ forebears laid the foundations for the greater freedoms and equality we enjoy today. Countless Pride events around the world, including New York’s own, now mark the anniversary with parades and festivals. The Stonewall National Monument in Christopher Park, located directly across from the site of the anti-police-discrimination riots at the Stonewall Inn, received its national monument designation in 2016, and is the site of annual remembrances. | Image credit: AITGL - Ente Italiano Turismo LGBTQ+ |

| | While many focus their Pride celebrations during the month of June, when you visit an Accor hotel, you’ll find that they celebrate in June and throughout the entire year. Every year, their LGBTQIA+ pillar reaffirms its commitment to supporting the community, from sponsoring Pride marches to implementing inclusion policies for employees. Accor has established itself as an ally and champion for LGBTQIA+ travelers. This year, Accor’s campaign, and its loyalty program, echo these sentiments. ALL, which stands for Accor Live Limitless, will expand to stand for Accor Love Limitless. |
