| Since its inception in 1988, National Coming Out Day (11 October) has celebrated those who have found the courage to share their truth and live authentically. While coming out can be a difficult process for many LGBTQ+ individuals, each voice serves as an agent of change in the face of homophobia and transphobia.
We look forward to a future where ‘coming out’ is no longer necessary. Until then, National Coming Out Day remains a vital platform for those who wish to share their stories. |
