An Update on Play at Alice Sweet Courts
While the folks at Iglesia de Christo Church (adjacent to the Alice Sweet Courts) were kind enough to offer use of their picnic table for social time following matches, we have made the decision to suspend our use of their facilities. Following matches, we suggest that you consider heading two blocks north on Simms to the Apex Pickleball facility where they have tables and restrooms, or simply set up on the grass at Alice Sweet.

Leagues
ATC Court Numbering
The numbers on the outdoor courts at the Apex Tennis Center have been changed so that the numbering is more intuitive. The front courts (closest to the facility) are now from left to right 1, 2, 3, 4. The rear courts (farthest from the facility) are now numbered from left to right 5, 6, 7, 8.

Socials
Summertime is here and tennis is in full swing!
Grand Slam Birthday Bash On Saturday, June 17 we'll be celebrating 5 years of the new ATC. There're still a few spots still available on the club website - but not for long! Register.
18 Plus USTA District Tournament The following weekend, June 24-25, the APEX Tennis Center is hosting the 18+ District Tournament on Friday from 7 am-5 pm on all 12 courts and on Saturday from 7 am-5 pm on the outdoor courts only.
Drills and lessons with the APEX pros will go on as scheduled on Saturday on the indoor courts. So, you all come out and watch some good tennis. Some of our friends will be playing against other good teams from all around Colorado. Be on the lookout for a special email about that weekend.
NJTC Summer Saturday Socials Save these dates for Summer Socials at the Apex Tennis Center (ATC):  Jul 15, Aug 26,  Sep 16. Also, Aug 12 is the Lakewood Challenge held at the ATC. Lakewood Club (LTA) and NJTC get together for a big summer social and BBQ. Come and play or come and watch. If you want to help out, contact your social guy, Kevin.

TANS aka Tennis Addicts and Nuts (that’s us) is currently playing Friday evenings from 6-8 pm at the ATC. Please email Julie Gall @ juliegall@sprintmail.com. TANS is great for new and old players alike. Julie likes to mix it up, so come ready to play.

Welcome Shea Donahue and Ben Gottenberg! These two will be heading up many of our summer adult drills including NEW Live Ball cardio classes. Come check them out and get your heart rate up while hitting a ton of balls and jamming to tunes. These two have levels for all and energy for days! Let the tennis court be your gym for the summer 😀*Live Ball classes have 10-14 players on two courts with 2 pros *
