IGLTA stands united with the LGBTQ+ community for this year’s Pride celebrations as a time of both celebration and period of remembrance of the important history that began on Christopher Street Liberation Day, 28 June 1970 – when a revolution was sparked for equality. Ever since, parades and festivals have honored each individual's right to express their true selves regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. In the face of discrimination Pride festivals provide a united front for the diverse LGBTQ+ community around the world and show pride existing without prejudice.

13-16 June: Dallas Southern Pride’s Juneteenth Unity Weekend Celebration - Dallas Southern Pride’s annual Juneteenth Unity Weekend Celebration, in partnership with Abounding Prosperity, is the official annual celebration for Black Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans, and Queer (LGBTQ) individuals to come together and celebrate who and what we are. During this four-day celebration, you can experience powerful workshops and seminars that build awareness concerning the most often ignored social and political issues affecting communities of color. Festivities include live performances, networking, and community.
