Enquire & the School of International Futures (SOIF) Partner to Connect Futurists to Business Leaders
New York, NY - December 23, 2020 - Enquire (formerly GlobalWonks) and the School of International Futures (SOIF) are pleased to announce that they have entered into a strategic partnership to foster collaborations around the future of work and knowledge and to connect a new generation of foresight practitioners (systematic long-term thinking on an issue or topic) to business leaders.
The Next Generation Foresight Practitioners (NGFP) program was launched by the School of International Futures (SOIF) in 2018. It identifies, convenes, and supports a diverse global network of emerging change-makers from predominantly underrepresented geographies, amplifying their influence and connecting their work to decision-makers and investors. Enquire clients will now have the opportunity to engage the NGFP network that has around 350 members in 68 countries.
On the Enquire platform, NGFP members can share their expertise and build meaningful freelance relationships with the world’s leading firms. Experts will harness insights about the future across different geographies, topics, and industries to enable better business decision-making. Such connections are more important today than ever before. Enquire has grown its network to over 22,000 experts in 180 countries in under 2 years and there is steep demand for their products from Fortune 100 companies and investors--chiefly their novel real-time Q&A tool, Network Pulse.
Former Senior Policy Adviser in the UK Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit and SOIF Founder, Cat Tully, said: "The challenges and opportunities of 2021 and the coming decade will require new voices, solutions and energy. I am immensely proud of Enquire and SOIF’s groundbreaking collaboration, which ensures that the next generation of foresight practitioners can contribute their ideas and set the agenda for needed change." She continued: "Together, we hope to shape the future of work, knowledge and learning so that corporations around the world can build their contextual intelligence by plugging into diverse views and feel confident to navigate their future landscape."
Bilal Baloch, Co-Founder and COO of Enquire, commented: "It now seems trivial to say that the world around us is in steep flux. Social, economic, and political disequilibria is the new normal. In this context, evidence will often remain incomplete and definite answers a risk. Enter strategic foresight practitioners. The NGFP members added to our expanding network of knowledge experts will continue to help prepare business leaders for tomorrow’s challenges." He added, "our partnership with SOIF will go beyond providing their fellows a corporate stage, but also building exciting new ways to promote strategic foresight as a tool for our clients and co-producing content around the future of knowledge. This is a very exciting collaboration."
