This December 1st marks an incredible yet sorrowful occasion - World AIDS Day. This global health day, first established in 1988, honors those who are living with HIV/AIDS and remembers the lives lost to this devastating pandemic. According to UNAIDS estimates, more than 37 million people worldwide have contracted the virus, while over 36 million have passed away due to complications of this deadly disease since it began decades ago. We stand together on this day united against a common enemy as we uplift our friends and family members impacted by this pandemic.
