Every 10 December, on Human Rights Day, we proudly celebrate the advances made in promoting LGBTQ+ equality worldwide. To mark this special date, we express our gratitude for those who have dedicated their lives to protecting these fundamental rights and enabling us as a community to thrive. As we recognize all that has been accomplished since the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by UN member states, it is essential that we also remember how much work still needs to be done to combat prejudice and oppression. Together, we build a world where everyone can live with dignity and respect, regardless of who they love or how they identify.
