Moving back to Ash Ridge, Colorado feels like coming home. I spent every summer as a little girl living with my grandmother, Cora, on the McClaren homestead, riding horses bareback, and eating apples from the orchard for supper.
Now the place is officially mine, with its sprawling garden, greenhouse, barn, and livestock.
