CBS 4 / Jim Defede Expose Shadowy Out Of State Group Targeting Teachers

A month’s long investigation of Washington State's Freedom Foundation uncovered a shadowy campaign funded by billionaires who are writing and passing laws here in Florida in an effort to destroy local teacher unions. The out of state groups have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on direct mail, legal fees, websites and on wining & dinning a handful of rogue teachers at a luxury resort. The coordinated attack from Secretary of Education Manny Diaz Jr, a disgruntled failed UTD candidate, a just created front group and out of state billionaires is seeking to eliminate the United Teachers of Dade and several recent pay raises they have secured for teachers and staff.

Today, at approximately 1:00PM, some guests were rewarded with an extra special treat as they were privileged to observe the birth of an endangered banteng! Early this afternoon, while still in her habitat, the mother, named “Phyllis,” went into labor and proceeded to give birth as visitors watched in amazement!
