CityPlace Doral Debuts Overhead Art Installation with Over 1,300 Rainbow-hued Umbrellas

It may be stormy, but spring has sprung at CityPlace Doral! CityPlace Doral has launched an Instagrammable art installation made entirely of vibrant colored umbrellas. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with 1,300 rainbow-hued umbrellas floating overhead on the boulevard upon entering the center. Visitors are encouraged to snap a selfie and tag @CityPlaceDoral and #umbrellasovercityplacedoral for a chance to be featured on the center’s social media. GIRL SCOUTS OF TROPICAL FLORIDA CENTENNIAL MURAL

Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida unveiled a Centennial Mural in Wynwood, celebrating 100 Years of Girl Scouting in Miami-Dade and the Keys. The mural was made possible by The Miami Foundation, Cindy and Irv Lerner, and muralist Rudy Mendez. Mendez’s design incorporated the assistance of five Girl Scouts who participated in painting patches that represent the Girl Scout pillars: STEM, Outdoors, Entrepreneurship and Life Skills. The mural is located off NW 3rd Ave. between 25th and 26th Streets. GSTF is proud to be one of the oldest nonprofit organizations in Miami.
