Governor DeSantis’ Budget for Investments in Per-Student Funding and Teacher Salaries

The Florida Department of Education (FDOE) applauded Governor DeSantis’ Framework for Freedom Budget that proposes historic funding for Florida’s students and teachers. The Framework for Freedom Budget includes an additional $200 million to continue raising teacher pay for the fourth year in a row, bringing the total Teacher Salary Increase Allocation in Fiscal Year 2023-24 to a record $1 billion. In addition, the Governor’s budget prioritizes school safety, teacher recruitment and retention, and workforce education, while also proposing the highest per-student funding in the state’s history... The N Class of the 2022 Hyundai Elantra is a fun go-getter. I really like the design, which includes geometric lines on the doors. The sedan sells for $32,150 and gets great mileage: the N 8-speed wet dual clutch transmission delivers 20 miles per gallon in the city and 30 miles per gallon on the highway. That’s delivered on a 276 horsepower gasoline direct injection engine with 289 pound-feet of torque.
