7 MARCH 2025
IGLTA
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY
On 8 March, IGLTA proudly joins the global celebration of International Women’s Day. With origins dating back over a century, this impactful day began as a call for voting rights and the fight against workplace discrimination. Revitalized during the activism of the 1960s, it has since grown into a powerful tradition, recognizing the strides women have made toward greater equality. Today, we celebrate women from all walks of life, including those making a difference in the LGBTQ+ travel industry.
