Leaders across Miami-Dade make headway on community-driven, health-equity action plan to address nutrition security both comprehensively and sustainably. Recent research by the American Heart Association finds inequities in Miami-Dade related to nutrition security to be too prevalent over the past four years.

With the August 20th Primary Election quickly approaching, voters are encouraged to review their customized sample ballot before heading to the polls. There are federal, state, county and municipal candidates in addition to a minimum of two questions for all voters.
