Fall 2020 Update - Holiday/Black Friday Sales
|
Sunrise at Red Bluff Overlook, a bend in the Buffalo River, Arkansas I arrived just before sunrise and the fog was pea soup. I knew it would be breaking up, and after waiting about an hour on the cliff edge the fog was perfect, with the morning sun lighting up the colorful foliage. It was a magical scene.

The strange year of 2020 continues! Fortunately taking photos is an outdoor activity, so I've been able to get out and and take some new images. In my last email ( click here to view that email) I highlighted WWII Vintage Aircraft photos and Lakes Superior & Michigan lighthouses. Since that email I spent several days in Colorado and Arkansas shooting Fall color. Scroll down for some previews of those, or check out this gallery of all my new 2020 images. All my Autumn shows have been cancelled, and hopefully things will be improved enough for my 2021 shows, starting in May, to happen. But that is six months away! So, for those of you in a position to purchase art, I'm holding a Holiday/Black Friday Sale, along with a few other special discounts: 1. Holiday 25% off sale For all regularly priced items I am offering a 25% discount. Just enter "HOLIDAY2020" when checking out. This discount will be good through Dec. 31st, but be sure to order ASAP to ensure delivery by Christmas. 2. Special pricing on Float Aluminum printsThrough Nov. 30th I am able to offer even better pricing on certain sizes of float aluminum images. If you have a large space to fill this is an especially great deal for some large triptychs. These prices are not on my website, so when ordering one of these please choose "Pay Offline" and I will send you an invoice for the proper amount, or just email or call me to order. Feel free to contact me to discuss triptych options for specific pictures. I can often make a triptych of images that are not shown as panoramic on the web site. 3. Clearance Sale Gallery
These are items I m no longer offering or which have slight flaws. Visit my Clearance Gallery here. 4. Statement Piece Sale
I'm continuing my "Statement Piece" Sale, which are the large images I hang in my art show booth. If you've ever wished you could have one of those this is the deal for you. I am offering all of my large (mostly 24x36 or larger) framed pieces at a significant discount, most 35%-50% or more. This is only for those I have on hand, so once it sells at the sale price it is gone.
For these large pieces I will add the actual shipping price to your location, which can vary depending on the size and destination. If you can get to Tulsa you can pick up for no additional charge. I can also deliver in the Tulsa area. I am going to present these in a different way, inviting you to virtually visit my actual art show booth. I have a gallery on my website showing all my framed items as they hang on the wall of my booth, from various shows in the last year. This way you can see them hanging to get a sense of scale (Note my booth walls are about 8 feet tall). I've labeled each piece with size and price. So you will be virtually walking through my booth! Here is an example:

| I don't have these set up to complete the purchase online, so if you are interested contact me and I can can provide the details, pricing options, give you a closer look at the frame, and discuss shipping. I can be reached by voice or text at 918-809-6325, or at johnkennington@gmail.com. If you'd like a picture that is not included here, check with me, I just might have it since I don't have photos of everything. To see my all the items visit my "Statement Piece" Gallery. This sale will last through Dec. 31st. New WorkAs I mentioned I was fortunate to spend some time in Colorado last month, and more recently Arkansas. Below are some highlights. Click here for a gallery of all my new 2020 images. Stay safe! John |
Last Light at Mount Sneffels, Uncompahgre National Forest, Colorado I was in Colorado the first few days of October, and unfortunately the smoke from all the western U.S. fires obscured the landscape most of the days I was there. But on this evening the smoke cleared just enough! This is the last light of the day hitting the top of Mount Sneffels, just outside of Ridgway, Colorado.
| Dancing Aspens No. 6, Uncompahgre National Forest, Colorado I've been wanting to capture these Aspens outside Ophir for years, and finally had an opportunity. The twisted trunks are likely due to heavy snow when they were you, perhaps due to avalanches, the grove is right next to a slide area. | Dancing Aspens No. 11, Uncompahgre National Forest, Colorado I made several visits to this aspen grove during my trip, photographing them in different light each time. | Dallas Divide No 1, Mount Sneffels Range, Ridgway, Colorado | Aspen & Moon Reflections, Rowdy Lake, Uncompahgre National Forest, Colorado
| Rowdy Lake Reflection No. 3, Uncompahgre National Forest, Colorado
| Autumn Road, Ridgway, Colorado Color in Colorado is produced by many species, not just Aspens. In this image there is not one Aspen to be found!
| Silver Jack Aspens, Uncompahgre National Forest, Colorado
| Mount Sneffels Corral, Double RL Ranch, Ridgway, Colorado This is on Ralph Lauren's ranch, the Double RL. Several County Roads go through his ranch on their way into the Uncompahgre
National Forest and the Sneffels range.
| Floating Aspen Leaves No 2, Uncompahgre National Forest, Colorado
| Scrub Oak Acorn, Uncompahgre National Forest, Colorado
| A few images from a WWII Vintage Aircraft photo shoot I was at a few months ago, featuring night shots of running planes, authentic crew reenactors, and WWII style pinup shots. | In August I ws shooting lighthouses on Lakes Superior and Michigan. I am STILL going through my images so be sure to recheck the gallery later this week for new images I'll be adding. | |
